Module 3: Youth and Families MCR - The Model

Training Description

This purpose of this training module is to introduce participants to the youth and families mobile crisis response model. As practices continue to emerge, similar versions of what we are implementing in Louisiana have been employed around the country. The Louisiana model is informed by many of the national best practices and underlying principles and values. 

Learning Objectives

 

  • Participants will Be familiar with the MCR model overall and core services.

  • Participants will ​understand best practices and underlying principles of quality MCR.​

  • Participants will identify and explore populations served, what/who defines crisis, function of teams and safety, the focus on stabilization.

Mode of Delivery

This module will be trained synchronously on Zoom.

Who is required to complete this module?

You are required to complete this module if you are:

  • Team Clinical Director/Supervisor

  • Direct Care Staff

  • MCO Call Center Staff/Magellan
