Responding to crisis situations is stressful enough, being “resourced up” is a crucial component of being able to respond effectively in any situation.  This training will focus on teaching participants how to get creative within their communities and the focus resources they can utilize to help individualize care with the people they are serving. Participants will learn to view their clients and communities through a strength-based lens, so they not only know what services are available in their community but how to use them creatively to capitalize on their effectiveness. Participants will be engaged with throughout the session through large and small group discussion. Small group activities will be facilitated to provide hands on practice around developing skill in creatively brainstorming options to individualize care.
