Suicide Safety Planning Module 4: Don't Drift: Self-evaluation to Help You Improve the Quality of the Safety Planning Experience
Training Description
Module 4 is a brief trainee self-evaluative module, to support trainees in identifying strengths and weaknesses in their own safety planning process. It is intended to prevent therapeutic drift, a process by which trained therapists, over time, may begin deviate from key intervention elements. Module 4 is intended to be revisited periodically (recommended at least 1 time per year) for trainees to check on the quality of their safety plans, complete a self-evaluation, and identify areas of focus for future safety planning.
