Training Description
The purpose of this module is to allow professionals to identify ways to assist members in regaining cognitive functioning and to remain resolution-focused.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
Learn to recognize the stress response and the part of the brain impacted.
Be able to utilize the sequence of engagement to assist in regaining cognitive functioning.
Learn the importance of rhythm to help with regulation.
Identify barriers to building trusting relationships and strategies to overcome those barriers.
Be able to operationalize the guiding principles that will assist in remaining resolution-focused.
Be able to recognize which skills of resilience will assist in developing a resolution-focused plan.
