Module 8: Adult Mental Health Considerations

Training Description

This module will cover adult mental health conditions, by the numbers and by definitions. Participants will apply this information to a case study in the session.

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

  • Learn that mental health is on a continuum, with some factors negatively affecting mental health and well-being.
  • Learn that all people may be in a state of crisis at some point.
  • Increase their awareness of the impact of mental health stigma and myths.
  • Increase their skills in helping someone in serious emotional distress by applying key concepts.

Part B (live, online via Zoom). This training module is online via Zoom. Please go here for the Zoom links.

Your are required to complete this module if you are:

  • Team Clinical Director/Supervisor
  • Direct Care Staff
  • MCO Call Center Staff
