Module 8: Adult Mental Health Considerations
Training Description
This module will cover adult mental health conditions, by the numbers and by definitions. Participants will apply this information to a case study in the session.
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Learn that mental health is on a continuum, with some factors negatively affecting mental health and well-being.
- Learn that all people may be in a state of crisis at some point.
- Increase their awareness of the impact of mental health stigma and myths.
- Increase their skills in helping someone in serious emotional distress by applying key concepts.

Your are required to complete this module if you are:
- Team Clinical Director/Supervisor
- Direct Care Staff
- MCO Call Center Staff
