Overview: The Louisiana Department of Health – Office of Behavioral Health has published a Medicaid service definition for Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), demonstrating the state’s commitment to improving access to this high-fidelity treatment for children and their caregivers. The Center for Evidence to Practice offers numerous opportunities for Louisiana’s Medicaid behavioral health providers to train and become certified in TF-CBT. This module intends to provide practitioners who may be interested in pursuing TF-CBT training with information pertaining to the training process.

Description: This webinar was facilitated by Kelly Wilson, LCSW. The Center for Evidence to Practice has partnered with Kelly to facilitate TF-CBT trainings for Louisiana behavioral health practitioners. In this webinar, participants learn about the TF-CBT training process and implementation, information that is essential to know if you’re considering applying to train in TF-CBT!

Recommended Audience: Behavioral health practitioners that are interested in pursuing  TF-CBT training

Continuing Education Hours (CEHs): This training is eligible for up to 0.5 hours in CEHs. Upon completion, users will be able to download their certificate of completion and apply for CE credit with their respective licensing board.
