Suicide Safety Planning Module 1: Patient-Centered Suicide Safety Planning with Youth and Caregivers: Tips, Tricks, and Recommendations

This module provides a didactic training experience, covering multiple aspects of suicide safety planning with youth and parents/guardians/guardians. The presentation includes a brief review of suicide safety planning followed by three key areas for working with adolescents: (a) parent/guardian involvement, (b) common obstacles, and (c) youth-specific skills. An additional section focuses on skills for working with pre-adolescent youth.
