Module 3: Voices of Lived Experiences Part One

Training Description

The LA-CRS values and incorporate the voices of people with lived experience. This training module serves as an opportunity for trainees to hear, firsthand, from individuals with lived experiences.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn:

  • About individuals’ experience during and after their call for help during a behavioral health crisis.
  • How to apply the perspective of people with lived experience to crisis response interventions.
  • How to evaluate the impact of a non-person-centered approach and the fragmented system of crisis services.

Mode of Training Delivery

This training is asynchronous (i.e. on your own).

Who is required to complete this module?

Your are required to complete this module if you are:

  • Agency Leadership
  • Agency Medical Director
  • Team Clinical Director/Supervisor
  • Direct Care Staff
  • Support Staff
  • MCO Call Center Staff

Time

This module is 25 minutes.
